Delivering Palestine’s first animal ambulance.

Palestine's first animal ambulance not only provides direct help to animals but the presence of this vehicle on the streets of Palestine is a living example of kindness and compassion in action.

Through our collaboration with the Palestinian Animal League, Animals International is proud to support life-changing initiatives for animals throughout Palestine.

It was our live export work that first took us to Palestine but it’s the enduring friendships with Palestinian advocates and opportunities to help create great change that have sustained our presence there.

The Palestinian Animal League (PAL) is in many ways like a ‘sister’ organisation to Animals International, in terms of their vision, mission and strategy of working at the root cause of issues to cultivate compassion for all beings and heal the human animal relationship.

Their mission: helping animals, empowering people.

With a strong focus on community engagement and empowerment, PAL works with local people, and particularly youth and children, to foster compassion for both people and animals – seeing the two as interlinked.

They run education initiatives, lobby for greater legal protections for animals in Palestine and provide rescue, care and feeding programs to animals in need – all under extremely challenging circumstances.

Animals International was honoured to make their dream a reality in the form of Palestine’s first ever animal ambulance.

The mobile clinic not only provides direct help to animals but the presence of this vehicle on the streets of Palestine provides a living example of kindness and compassion in action.
